Fringe haircuts are in existence since many centuries. Like many other haircuts and hairstyles, fringe haircut fashion frequently goes out of fashion and comes back. Fringe haircuts are worn in a wide array of styles and designs. During the 1980-2000, poofy, curly and teased fringe haircuts were in fashion. From 2000 onwards until early 2006, fringe haircuts altogether disappeared from the fashion radar.
